I'm 4.5 months out. Got my protein under control now. Thanks to quest bars and milk. I get my fuilds in, and I started working out again, even though I get dizzy afterwards( do protein before and after with crabs but it don't work) I did get blood work done bc my thumb went numb for no reason and they thought it might be my b12. but all vitmins are good, I just have low bloodsugar... anyways to the rumors... When we hit 6 months does are weightloss slow? I'm doing about 11-14 pounds a month. My goal is between 135-150. If we do slow, how much do we slow. I just want to be perpare if it happens. I still have a belly roll that needs to go away lol.

From everything I've read it does slow. It did for me. Just keep working the program and don't give up. I've seen vets on here state it took them two years and they made it to goal and kept it off. keep the carbs low and protein up to maximize this timeframe!

I'm glad you are doing well! I had dizzy spells too, and still have the odd one! My weight loss, like clock work, slowed at 6 months, but it didnt STOP so as long as I was still losing, it was all good! But I do have to admit, it was very FUN to see the bigger drops early out, then the 2 pounds a month towards the end of my first year :)

I actually slowed down each month by a few pound.  It makes sense when you think about the fact that you have less to lose as the months go by, so think of it monthly as what percentage of the weight you lost compared to what you have left to lose.   My stats are below by month. I am 6 months out.

I'm 10 months out and mine has slowed...but I'm losing and I'm still seeing changes in the things I can do and wear so I'm grateful for that....I was very heavy so my losses at first averaged 15-18 pounds a month....in december it was 5 lbs, january-9 lbs, february-9 lbs, march 5 lbs....I would still like to lose 70-80 lbs...so that's why I think I'm still losing pretty good....trying to do better with fluids and exercise and staying busy...that helps me so much not to focus on eating.  I started out at 399 so that's why I started out losing more.....I'm not even to where you started out so hang in there..you're doing great!  We just have to be consistent is what I tell myself....it's not a race, even though we want it to be! :)

Hope I've helped some!

It is extremely common for the rate of loss to drop around 6 months out and again by a year out.  You weight less, so your daily caloric deficit is small, plus you are slowly losing your caloric malabsorption, so you are getting more of he calories you eat.  There is no way for anyone to tell you how much it will slow, since that depends on your own metabolism, how much you still have to lose, and how quickly your body is adapting to the malabsorption. Even though the loss slowly greatly after a year, many people continue to lose very slowly for 18-24 months.

I'm 10 months out and there are weeks where I lose nothing.  Then I'll go down 2-3 lbs stay there for a few weeks and go down 2-3 again.  It get's kinda frustrating but the less you have to lose and closer you are to goal the harder it always is. hahaha :)
