Sugar????
that's going to vary from person to person. If you mean how much will cause dumping, many people don't dump at all. I am good with about 15 grams sugar.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
I haven't "dumped" yet so I don't really have an answer of what my limit is. But I have had G2 and have had no problems with it. My dr. even said I could have apple juice diluted with water (half and half). That didn't give me any trouble either. It was on the menu in the hospital and I was so scared to drink it!

Keep in mind that not all "sugar" is created equal. Most people can tolerate MUCH more natural sugar from fruit or from dairy products (e.g., yogurt) than processed sugar such as what would be added to something packaged. I don't dump until I have had a lot of sugar, but I can eat close to about 40g of sugar in fresh fruit and not have a problem but 20g in ice cream will make me nauseous and shaky.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
