Lumpy shakes
I drink my shakes at work for breakfast (pre-op, not on diet yet) but they're lumpy. Syntrax Nectar mixes with water pretty well, but I just got samples of Syntrax Matrix and it came out chunky. Tasty, but chunky. Does anyone use one of those mixers you can put in a glass? Are there any secrets to mixing a shake?
When using a blender bottle, it pretty much comes down to the protein itself. Some lump up, some don't. There are some powders I've shaken til the cows came home and still had many lumps!
You can try getting a mesh shaker bottle (and make sure the mesh is pretty fine).
I usually blend my shakes for this very reason.

I am pre-op, and having surgery next week. I found something called a Vortex. It is a battery operated mixer for shakes. It was only $19.99 I got it at GNC. It works great, and no lumps. It is the size of the typical mixer bottle with a lid that can be used to dring directly from as well.
