Premier Protein

I love Premier Protein shakes from Sam's, mainly because one gives me 30g of protein.  I know we are supposed to have mostly whey protein, and in the ingredient list it says "protein blend" and whey protein is listed #3 after milk protein and calcium caseinate.  So are these ok for us, or do I need to look for whey protein specifically?

I  love them too--it's the only kind I drink. My dietician has whole heartedly endorsed them for our use. I'm 6 months out and have them 2 times a day as I'm having a real problem with most food and this is the only way I can get all of my protein in. If you have a concern ask your dietician, but many of the posters here use them and recommend them to others.

My Dr.'s office recommends them as well, but unfortunately we do not have a Sam's close, and we have not been able to find them anywhere else.

Costco has them too if you are close to one of those.  I made the mistake of buying two boxes and they were both chocolate.  Has anyone tried the vanilla and do they taste better than the chocolate?

That's the only kind of protein shake I drink.  I have only been able to find chocolate though, would love to try and find the vanilla.

I ordered some from amazon.com before surgery. I got a great deal but all they had was chocolate. Never had vanilla but I do like the chocolate kind!
