My prayers are with those hurt in the Boston Marathon explosion. Anyone know of any of our people that were going to run this marathon?

Prayers to all of the people who are effected. I know that there are some of us on this site who have mentioned wanting to run marathons. It should be a day of pride and happiness, not this.

Horrible simply horrible!!!! Prayers to the families of the deceased and injured.

This is no way to destroy such a important event... my heart breaks for all those involved.

I don't know anyone on here running it, but I have friends there. One was literally right near the explosion but she is ok. All my friends have checked in and are ok. Thank God. It's so awful.

Most from my running club, Montgomery County Road Runners, have checked in and are ok.... but my heart just breaks for everyone in Boston. People spend their lives trying to qualify for the race, the whole city supports & cheers on total strangers for this accomplishment..... this just leaves me at a loss for words and a break in my heart....
