Not receiving notifications info from OH member services

I sent an email about my problem not receiving email notifications when someone answered a post of mine and within no time this is the response I got. I used to get notifications so I feel OH is a valid site. Just thought some of you might like to hear their response.

"From time to time your email provider will update their system and mark sites as spam that are not. Check your spam box and see if they are there. If so, just mark them they are not spam. Also, make OH a legit site. Last if none of these work you have to contact your email provider and have them change their settings to make OH a valid site."

I don't buy it. I was getting them, then I wasn't, now they show up occasionally. I think it's the site, not the provider.

That is the same response I got. I don't buy it.

For over 5 years I've had the same email address and provider. I've never had an issue. Until now. And I checked my "spam" folders....nothing in there.

OH needs to ensure their server is sending notifications out.............

I agree. I was getting them and now I am not. However I got a notice about both of your replies. It is sporadic at best and I don't like that. When I ask a question and people are kind enough to take the time to respond I need to know. It seems rude to ignore folks. What to do?

Mine comes through, sometimes. It is pretty spotty and I haven't had issues before up until the past week or two.

I haven't gotten any in at least a week. And I just now checked my spam folder and there are none in there. This has been happening off and on for me for, oh, maybe the last six months or something? I used to get notifications regularly, and then it just started being that sometimes I get them, sometimes I don't. And sometimes I will get a whole bunch all at once, like all the ones I hadn't gotten for the last three days or something. It is definitely something with OH, not with our emails.

It's not email providers too many people having the same experience. I got 10 responses today from comments made the past two days. I didn't change anything.

Mine stopped also. About 2 weeks or so ago. Just stopped. I would love if someone would post if they ARE getting them. Then at least we could narrow down if anyone is getting notifications.
