Not eating enough

I think you need more food too.
Greek yogurt comes unflavored so you can add any flavor you choose. Why don't you eat the egg yolk? Does it make your stomach upset or do you just not like it?
Can you tolerate any cheese or cottage cheese? How about shellfish or fish? Those are excellent for protein and most people tolerate them well.

Just so you know, the yolk has the most nutrients of the whole egg and contrary to popular belief, it doesn't have an effect on bad cholesterol, only on good :) You should start eating them again :)

I am 3 months out & still can't eat what I'm supposed to at a sitting & am lucky I make 600 cals a day. Refried beans & chili are my friends. More carbs than I'd like but I need the fiber. We may just be really slow pouch-healers!!

My NUT SAYS THAT WE SHOULD BE AT 1000 - 1200 calories, especially if we are doing any kind of workout.   This is what I keep at and am at a very slow loss.  Only 1-2 lbs a month.

Part of the reason you may be struggling is because of too few calories, but you may also be so low on energy because of too few carbs.  Your body uses carbs for energy, and 15 net carbs is awfully low.  HEALTHY carbs (whole grains, beans, veggies, dairy) are NOT the enemy... It is the white carbs you need to avoid.

As far as calories, there are some very simple ways to get in more calories without necessarily eating a greater volume of food.  (I confess that I am very surprised that it took you so long to eat the egg and banana bread.  Why so long?!?)  Eat the whole egg not just the egg whites; add some fat back into your diet (full fat cheese, 2% or whole milk, butter instead of margarine, full fat mayo); use nuts as a protein snack; add aome fruit to your diet; f you eat poultry, replace some of it with red meat; regular yogurt or cottage cheese instead of reduced or no fat versions.

Increasing the amount of fat in your diet will also help combat constipation.  I'm not saying go crazy with fats, of course, just a little bit here and there.
