How do you take multiple pills?

i also take 11 oh ten now 1 bp med gone :) doc said cut inhalf he siad i coud strecth pouch? some are quite large? its a pain i spread out thru the day , i wish i didnt have to make so difficult :)

6 week check on the 6th i will ask again :)oh and the capsules they said to open

Well, your pouch is about the size of an egg.  I guess you could stretch your pouch if you swallowed a pill bigger than an egg.  Do you have any pills larger than an egg? I've never seen a pill anywhere near that large.   How could you get such a large object down your throat anyway?

I take meds/supplements 4 x day.  It takes less than a minute for me to take my pills.  I don't know why it would take someone an hour unless they just have issues with pills.  Some folks do.

@Kelly...you are cracking me up!  An egg sized pill.  I'm sure my pouch has stretched since surgery since I can eat more than a 1/4 cup but never imagined pills having anything to do with it.  :)

When I take my pills in the morning, I put them into a small dixie cup. I take one tiny pill, two stool softeners, an acid reducer, two capsules with gabapentin, two large capsules with magnesium citrate, a multi-vitamin, a B-complex, and some calcium. Volume alone is about 1 ounce. I drop the pills into my hand, fill the dixie cup with water, and toss them down. I often swallow half the pills with the first swallow and the other half with the second swallow. Once in a blue moon they don't go down so well, so I have to wait five or ten minutes before I consume anything.

From 2 months out onward, I've taken all my pills as presented. No chopping in half, no waiting between pills. I just toss em down and get on with life.

i am so sorry i didnt explain myself a little better hence to ward off un needed rude remarks reall an egg size pill , what i was tryibg to say was the opening at the pouch to empty , stoma? not sure new to all this , i glad my gandkids dont try to insult a person as  i was .. really were here for support not nasty smart remarks thank you :) God Bless to each their own :)
