Surgery and TMJ?

I may have asked this before. I have TMJ and am a little worried about how the tube will affect it. I tell myself it won't matter because I'll be on pain meds afterward. If anyone has TMJ, how did you do after waking up?

The breathing tube will come out before you wake up, and your muscles will be relaxed while you a "out" so I cannot imagine that it would be a big deal after surgery (and, as you said, you will be taking strong pain meds for a couple of days).

I have horrible TMJ. Every trip to my dentist means weeks of pain. However, I didn't have a second of trouble after surgery. Must be as Lora said, you are very relaxed when you're put under.
