Isopure - I was wrong

Is there a reason you are not trying something else?

In my experience, different flavors of the same brand can taste very different. For instance, I though the Syntrax Nectar roadside lemonade was OK but I thought their lemon tea was completely disgusting. I really like Oh Yeah cookies n cream and Oh Yeah banana but had to pour out the vanilla after just one sip, it was so gross. Now, there are some brands I don't like at all - I tried all the flavors of Cytomax and found them all disgusting beyond belief. But it is worth trying different flavors of the same brand to see if you like any of them.

Yeah, I couldn't gag down a full Isopure protein water if someone paid me (unless it was a lot of money, of course)! That nasty aftertase and the tongue coating... yuk!
I really like the Cytomax Pure Performance protein waters, though (available in three flavors). They are a little sweet, but I notice NO aftertaste, they definitely do not make your tongue feel weird, and they come in plastic bottles rather than glass. They also don;t get that nasty protein "snot" in the bottom if they sit too long! I periodically have part of one in the summer just because I like the way the tangerine tastes (I pour it over ice to cut the sweetness) and now Crystal Light atstes funny to me. Be sure it is the right version, though, because they make some sports drinks that are lower in protein and higher in calories. (The Cytomax has the same calorie and protein stats as the Isopure). Kelly is the opposite of me... she thought the Ispoure was ok but the Cytomax was gross. So if you hate the Isopure, you may very well like the Cytomax. ;)
