Is hernia pain constant or does it vary?
I'm wondering because they think my pain in my side may be due to a hernia. However in the last twelve hrs or so, the pain has subsided. I'm not sure if this is consistent with a hernia or not. I really don't have any of the other hernia symptoms that I've researched, so I'm just not sure what this pain is. I am supposed to see my surgeon tomorrow, but is there really a reason to see him if I have no pain anymore. The pain has come and gone for the past two weeks, but was constant from Thursday through early this morning.
Any info is greatly appreciated!
I have a hernia and the pain comes and goes. My doc advised me I need surgery to repair it but I should wait, if possible, till my tummy tuck when I'm done losing weight because my insurance should cover my tummy tuck.
It really depends on the location and severity of the hernia. Even if it is not a hernia, if you are having pain, even intermittently, you should keep the appointment with your surgeon.
