Post-Op Day 3... I'm so bad! ;-)
Well, I had my RNY surgery a few days ago - and overall I am feeling pretty good. I'm definitely not "pain free" but I am feeling much better than I thought I would be!
I have a very active almost 2 year old daughter and what I LOVE most is seeing Daddy run after her all day/night the last few days along with cooking, and cleaning, and other routine housework. He has always been helpful, but he works evening shifts so he isn't always home for dinner and bedtime and cleaning up.
I asked him if he appreciates all I do a little bit more these last few days and his response was "I am looking forward to going back to work".
It made me chuckle- maybe when I see the Dr I will tell him the Dr wants me to take it easy for a few extra weeks... Or even months! Haha!
