Sooooo tomorrow is my surgery
Wow, a lot of you are going in tomorrow. That is fantastic--it is the first day of the rest of your life and you'll wake up thrilled!!
Take lip balm and really coat yourself before they take you back and then have whomever is there with you keep it in their pocket so they have it right when you come out of recovery.
Plan on brushing your teeth a LOT. I did it about a dozen times in less than one day!
Hydrate like CRAZY today so the IV goes in easily and don't let any new whippersnapper put it in...find the oldest nurse without shaky hands and have her do it! ;)
HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman. I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
