Gallbladder issues??!!??

For the past week, I have had nausea & vomiting.  I am 3 months out.  Today I saw my surgeon and they did a gallbladder ultrasound.  I have no stones, but I have either a thickening of the gallbladder wall or gallbladder sludge.  So now I have to have an ultrasound through radiology and possibly some kind of scan to see how the gallbladder is working.  I am kind of worried, and don't know what to expect.  Can anyone tell me if this might end ot with surgery, or what their experience is?  Or what to expect?  Thanks for listening.

I had sludge in mine and had it removed. For me it was a very easy surgery. My surgeon got it done before my panniculectomy so that the lap scars would be gone with it.

Thanks!!  I'm glad to hear it was an easy surgery.

I had sludge in mine. They removed it. Very easy easy surgery. Went very well and recovered fast. I still felt the nausea and the cramping feeling of the gallbladder for like two weeks though. Weird huh? But after that two weeks not a problem.
