update on my dripping hole
I went to see my surgeon yesterday regarding that little pesty hole on my left hip TT incision line that has been dripping on and off all month. He said what is causing it is one of my internal stitches is trying to pu****s way out. He said either one of two things will happen. My body will either finally absorb the stitch, or my body will finally pu**** thru and then that little hole will close up on its own. My reaction to the news was 'Oh my gosh! I cant believe I am having a complication' ... His reaction to my reaction, big smile, then a chuckle... 'this is not a complication... this is called your body healing' ... ok, I guess I'm going to live another day :D

I am relieved it isn't a big deal... he said I can expect this to go on for even another month! He is going to see me again in 6 weeks to take a look and be sure it has healed up.... I feel a little silly wasting the surgeons time over this, but I just couldn't believe my normal family doctor saying its nothing, just let it drip.... but at least now I know why its dripping, and that I can expect it to go on for another month haha

I'm glad I'm not the only one that found the subject amusing.

After my c-section I had a similar situation. My doctor was able to see the edge of the stitch, pulled it a bit, snipped it and then it was in enough for the body to fully absorb it and the one spot of the 6 in*****ision that had been leaking for a month, went away within a few days.
Glad you are healing--hope the stitch resolves itself quickly! :)
