Finally feeling positive

So, I am finally acknowledging the weight loss.  I still don't see it in the mirror but I feel so much better.  I am breathing better and feel like I am on the right track.  I started the journey in February with lean and green.  I weighed 367 pounds at that first appointment.  I couldn't believe thats how much I weighed.  I was so upset.  The last appointment before my surgery I weighed 338.  My surgery was May 22.  Today I weigh 309.  I am so excited.  I don't know if I am losing as quick as I should, but I am losing and that is what matters.

Hi there. My surgery was May 20. I didn't see the weight loss until my hubs took a picture of me wearing an outfit that had been very tight on me before surgery. I looked at that picture, and was amazed that my stomach wasn't dominating the picture like it would have otherwise.

You seem to be right on track with a great attitude! Congrats on your success. I'm sure you'll continue to do well!

29 pounds in 5 weeks since surgery is FANTASTIC!! You actually lost more than that because most of us come home weighing more than when we went in because of all of the fluids they give us in the hospital. You should be excited, you are doing great!!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
