1st day trying protein shakes

Finally advanced to "full liquids" and was able to try a protein shake. I'm not going to lie- I was pretty skeptical.

I got one of the recipes from the eggface blog and the other from Pinterest. I tweaked them a little bit to my liking.
I did a pumpkin shake and a cake batter shake. Honestly, they were not bad at all! My toddler wanted a sip (of course) and kept saying "more momma, more momma" =)

Overall I was able to get 71g of protein in today! I hope I can keep it up!

Summer is a perfect time to try out lots of shake recipes.  Here's to you.

You're lucky! I'm over 2 months out and still haven't found I protein drink I remotely like. I still have to force them down.
