Plantar Fasciitis-GONE!!!

I never dreamed that my PF would be completely reversed with weight loss.  I was pretty sure that the damage was permanent.  All I hoped for was some improvement but I've been almost 5 years now without PF.

I recently learned that with every pound lost 4 pounds of pressure taken off your joints!  So with 100 lb weight loss that's like lifting 400 lbs off your joints!

Congratulations!

That's great! I hope to find the same relief someday. (I'm 2.5 weeks post-op, with 26 lbs. lost so far.)

But before the surgery, I found that Dansko's were the ONLY shoes that saved me! I'm a teacher and on my feet all day, and they were fantastic. I hope to able to branch out into other shoes, but I will definitely always recommend Dansko's to people suffering from PF! Thanks for sharing your victory!

Those shoes are the bomb! I am a teacher, too, so sitting at a desk all day is just not an option-lol!  I started to really feel relief when I was down 40+ pounds.  I bet you will feel relief soon!!

I bet it will!  Just give it some time.  Have you ever tried the Dansko shoes?  They are great!  Dillard's carries them. I am sure you can order them online, too, but I wanted to try them on first.

Good luck!

I have a mild case in my right foot that as long as I don't do the downward dog and run on my feet I'm not too bothered but the issue is...I love to run and do the downward dog so....I'm hoping that after my surgery I can do these things without all the pain.  Your post has given me hope!  Thanks for posting.  To most people it might be the most mundane thing to be thinking about in the scheme of what all obesity brings with it but being able to walk/run/etc. without pain in your feet is a blessing!  Congrats!
