I haven't posted since I have had surgery but wanted to post an update. I was on this website many hours a day in the beginning and looking at before and after pictures were my lifeline. I have lost a total of 85 lbs since my surgery October 1. I am only 9 months out but feel like a totally different person. I do struggle with some previous issues but have look it at from a totally different perspective. I have a few vitamin deficiencies which the doctor says is "normal" but all in all, what a journey. The best thing I have ever done in my life for myself.

The picture on the left is the beginning of summer 2012 and the right is last week on vacation.

Funny you mention that before and after pictures were your lifeline. My surgery date is August 2nd and I am completely obsessed with before and after pictures right now. I just cant wait! I only wish I look 1/2 as pretty and happy as you do :) You look great!

My daughter did a monthly pic from side and front,( she was so funny, it had to be n the exact place in the house each month ! ) I also measured monthly because during the stalls the inches will fall off so it was a win, .win, good luck on your journey

Thanks so much! But you will! This has been a journey to say the least. It is a process and I am still going through ups and downs. But in my process and journey, I have found peace with so much and feel so good. Keep positive and focused on you. Good luck in your journey:)
