Last night I decided to go to the local er to get my bulging lump checked out again after going Thursday and the ultrasound not showing anything. They did a ct scan last night and the results showed either a hematoma or fluid collection so they end up transporting me to New Orleans where my rny was done so that they can deal with it. My dr won't be here until tomorrow but I've seen all of his partners and the are pretty sure it's a hematoma, possibly starting a little infection. My surgeon will be here tomorrow morning and most likely will have to open me back up and remove whatever it is in there. I'm just so ready to get rid of this huge bulge in my belly that hurts soo bad!!!

I'm sorry you're having problems, but glad they are taking care of you.  Sounds like thing progressed a lot since you had the first CT done.  Hopefully they can drain any fluid without opening you all the way up again.

Often they can deal with a hematoma without having to open you up at all depending on the size and location of it.
