Weighing and Measuring?

I use mine DAILY! I love it. It has an auto tare, manual tare, oz and gram settings. I think it weighs up to 11 lbs, so I can use it for small packages in the mail, too! :)

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
I do both, depending on what it is. For calorie counting, which is more important the further you get out, weighing is more accurate. Honestly at 5 years out it is still tough for me to determine what a serving looks like so I still weigh and measure about half the time especially if I am a couple pounds up.

I agree with Laura. After about a year, I still log every bite on MyFitnessPal, and weighing is much, much more accurate to track calories than measuring cups.
If you are more concerned with checking to see how much you are filling your pouch, then measuring is fine.
The scale I use I bought online, and might have cost 14 or 15 dollars. All brands I have seen, regardless of price, are incredibly accurate.
