What could you tolerate?

The first "meat" I tried was tuna with just a bit of light mayo and then some baked cod my first week (I started soft foods Day Three while sill in the hospital).  The second week I added some moist buffalo chicken pieces and deli meat (although some types of deli meat, especially ham, tasted VERY salty). I also tolerated Wendy's chili pretty early, but don't remember exactly when.  Sometime in the first month.  I saved other kinds of beef and pork for a while because it was just entirely too much work to chew it down to mush!

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

Tilapia, blended chili, shaved turkey (it's almost half-chewed by the deli slicer lol), minced chicken that I made sure to chew. Turkey burgers would be okay for me if I would just remember that they're in my freezer.
