Those of you who have become lactose intolerant after surgery, are you intolerant to every fair product or just certain things bother you?

Just milk.  I'm fine with all other dairy products, like cheese, yogurt, pudding, etc.

I can have cheese, yogurt, but milk will kill me, I did try skim milk because of the malnutrition to mix my shakes with and did ok, I was so pleasantly surprised , I had not even tried milk in years, :) I also use the almond unflavored  & soy milk. how is the wound healing?

It's healing pretty good. Im still packing it with gauze to keep the top open to heal from the bottom but but It's alot more shallow than it was, and not draining hardly. Probably tomorrow ill quit packing it and let it heal on up. I'm so ready to wear regular pants again! I've been wearing yoga pants and stretchy pants bc regular pants buttons and my belt hurts it. Thanks for asking!

I can have every milk based product other than actual milk. So weird! And I loved milk...ewwww...not anymore it kills me now.

Think I got lucky. Milk does not bother me at all.

I have to drink fat-free lactose-free milk. Walmart brand seems to taste just like Lactaid. All other dairy products are fine. I only use milk with my protein shakes.
