Ever dumped with fruit ?

I went grocery shopping this morning and watermelon was on sale. I figured it was a great soft food for the pureed stage .  Just  had a small bite, it was like candy !   I've never been a real fruit person but wow did it taste good.

Wondering if any of you have ever dumped with fresh fruit. Not canned, I know that's not near as good as the fresh stuff.

Once, early out, on a whole bunch of berries.  Never since.

So how long did you wait to try them again after dumping?

I don't know.  Not that long.  Maybe a week.  But I ate less of them that time and had some protein with them.

I literally just asked this question in a different post. I was told I'll never be able to eat fruit after the surgery. Hope it's a fluke for you!!

I am almost 4 months out.  I eat 2 servings of fruit everyday.  Usually some strawberries, or a small (skinless) nectarine.  I wonder why you were told no fruit ever???

I have never had any issues with fruit. I love watermelon! And it goes towards your liquids! I mix the sugar free pears, peaches, fruit ****tail with cottage cheese for breakfast yummo!

We started with NSA fruits and fresh fruits at about a month out and as long as I had a protein with it, I didn't dump.  I love the melons this time of year.  Oh goodness!  Course, I am not sure I am a dumper.  Fruit has never bothered me at all.

have any of you done cottage cheese with pineapple ?  The sugar was really low so I got some.  I loved it pre-op  . Just wasn't sure how hard pineapple was to digest. Seems like one of those rough fruits.
