Should I have labs rechecked early?

The last 2 weeks or so I am very tired and overall weak!! I get dizzy pretty badly too. My labs were checked at 3 months post op and were normal. I have sleep apnea and used my cpap last night after not using it the last 3 nights figuring that was the problem but I feel awful again today. I also am hypothyroid but my last lab for that looked great!! I am not due to see my surgeon until like the end of sept I think for my 6 month checkup. I am losing interest in things because I physically am exhausted! Plus I returned to work the end of July. I am having another surgery again too within 2 weeks just a day surgery but I will be under general anesthesia. Thoughts??

Should add I am depending upon heavy caffeine intake to get me through the day it's just that bad. My eyes look sunk in too. Don't know what's going on.

Call your NUT and see what they advise...are you getting enough fluid in every day? Could you be dehydrated? Sometimes I feel like that when I am not getting enough fluid. Also sometimes I up my  protein shake by one extra per day for a day or two and sometimes that helps. But I just share my own experience. If your labs were on the low side of normal it might be worth checking. But it could be something else. Also any kind of anesthesia just plain wears me out for at least a week or better

I would in your case, especially since you haven't been taking any B12 and are only taking four Bariatric Fusion, which gives you about half of most things you need.

Ditto what Kelly said.  You aren't taking enough vitamins and three month labs often still partially reflect your pre-op nutritional state.  If you are already run down and deficient, having an additional surgery is just going to make things worse.

Just wanted to add that your insurance might refuse to pay for some of the labs to be repeated so soon.  Some of them are quite expensive.

The pressure on your cpap may be too high. I had to turn mine down. It was at a 9 and I turned it down to a 7. That was too little pressure, so I turned it up to an 8. Now I'm back to sleeping through the night and not being sleepy during the day.
