Worried that its too easy to get in my water and protein this seems odd
I will be contacting my Dr office on Tuesday when they are back from the holiday. I have not had any issues started from day 2 getting in my water or protein.
I have been able to get in 20 oz of water every 1.5 hours (most days I am between 60 and 80 oz)
I have gotten 3 protein shakes in (nectar with water)
and also 2 servings of pureed foods at 2 teaspoons each meal. (homemade pureed beans or pureed salmon with avocado)
I know I am doing exactly what my Doctor wants but am worried that I am not struggling at all. Should I have any concerns?
No, you don't need to be worried. You should be glad you're not having any complications.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.

Well said!
HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman. I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
I don't think you should be concerned that you are completely normal!!!!! Most of us do this without all the problems - it's just that we don't post about "everything's going really well" ...
Enjoy the fact that you are having a good recovery and try not to look for something to go wrong!

There really is no need to call your surgeon's office (although they might get a good chuckle out of it).
As Kim said, MOST people have no trouble at all. The problem is that it is the minority of people who DO have trouble who post about it, so it appears that a lot of people have trouble. The vast majority of people don't have any problems so don't have any questions or need any support. Don't let the experiences of the MINORITY color your expectations or cause you concern!
