Surgery in 2 weeks - can I take benadryl?
My RNY is two weeks from tomorrow. And I have my EGD this coming Thursday (9/5). I know I can't take aspirin products or any NSAID product, but can I take benadryl?? My allergies are killing me right now (sneezing, runny nose) and usually I take a combination of motrin and benadryl for allergies. I know I can't take motrin, but what about benadryl? I can't call anybody to as****il Tuesday and I need something NOW!

Tell him your problems you facing and accordingly he will guide you !
Why do you take Motrin for allergies? I get the Benadryl piece...but Motrin seems unnecessary.

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
