If you keep sipping water it should wash the pill through your pouch.

Dumping is not your only problem with children's medicines as I outlined above.   You need to either crush them, cut them into pieces and swallow them with a few mouthfuls of liquid or take them whole.   I don't know any reason why they would stay in your stomach or make you sick if you make sure you drink enough or take them with enough apple sauce or something.

I swallow handfuls of pills every day and really have never had any problems - you just have to decide what you want to do!

Ok, are you allowed applesauce yet?  If you are, or sugar fee pudding you can mix it up in those.

My Dr. has me crushing all pills until 8 weeks. And they to suggested the applesauce SF pudding or light yogurt, which worked the best for me.  This crushing included adult Tylenol.

The pill will not just sit there.  The opening between your pouch and small intestine is about the size of your pinky finger.  If the pill did get stuck in that opening, it would soon dissolve and then go through.

You should be able to use regular adult Tylenol, unless you are unable to swallow pills for some reason.  I don't know if children's Tylenol will make you dum*****t.  I don't know how many grams of sugar is in one adult dose of it.  You can call the manufacturer and ask how much sugar is in it.  If it's less than ten grams, it probably will not cause dumping.  There is no way to be sure, though.

My surgeons guidelines say no pills for 6 months. Any idea what the reason might be for waiting so long? I'm breaking open my prilosec capsules and dumping the granules into my mouth and crushing other medications. The taste is awful. I'm also dissolving carafate tablets to take for my ulcer. I guess I assumed the 6 month thing was for everybody so I'm surprised to see the different times different surgeons are giving.
