You can replace the bands http://www.fitbit.com/store#accessories if they get too bad.

You can submerge it up to 10 meters. From the way it reads you can easily swim with it on so sweat should be no issue. It is comfortable but its my first day with it.

Heather I would love to be friends with both you and your boyfriend. It is a great support system and challenge to compete against someone. What do you need to add me

I love my fitbit flex and would like to be friends.  How do we connect via fitbit?

Thanks for the responses. So sorry I hijacked the thread. It was rude of me, I should have posted one of my own. I will look into them more. And again original poster, I am sorry for rudely interrupting on your thread.

Dont apologize, I am fine with someone asking questions that pertain to the main topic :).

If you do get one I just recommend you make sure it can sync with your phone we found out my boyfriends phone cant auto sync so he will have to upload his progress at the end of each day into the computer.

Question (and I don't mean to hi-jack your thread here!)- I've also been thinking about the Jawbone or the FitBit but wondering if it's worth it. I track my food, exercise (sometimes hard to be specific/accurate when it's logged in online), here on OH, and when I do a walk or run, I have the free Nike Run app on my phone. What can the FitBit/Jawbone do that these free sites/apps cannot (other than the sleep tracking thing, which for me I'm not particularly interested in) ? Thanks!!!
