Did your weight stop when you started working out?

I am 8 weeks post op and I've been working out for about a month now. I haven't lost anything for about 3-4 weeks. I just don't know if It had anything to do with gaining muscle from working out? I have assumed it was just a small stall but how do I know the difference between a stall and just not doing things right? Maybe something needs to be adjusted or I need to eat more?? Maybe I'm eating too much? I measure everything and I can only eat 2-3 ozs at a time depending on what it is so I don't assume I'm doing anything wrong in that area? Idk!

I think your body has to adjust to the food you're eating and the exercise - I bet if you measured yourself you'd see big differences that aren't showing on the scale yet.

The same thing happened to me!  I started on the treadmill at 2 weeks out and the gym 4 weeks out.  Your body is adjusting to the change.  Don't worry, it will eventually come off.  I've also found that some of the people who I've had surgery with have lost more than me and they don't workout.  Even though we started at the same point as far as weight is concerned.  Either way, I'm happy with my results...the weight will come off...I promise!  Keep doing what you are doing!!!!wink

My weight loss increased as my workouts increased. I do not, however, eat my calories burned and I always follow a workout with a pure protein snack or meal, depending on the time of day.

Are you hydrating enough and are you noticing a smaller size in clothing? If you are building lean muscle mass you will find clothes fit better even if weight doesn't change on the scale.
