I had Gastric Bypass 6 years ago and have started gaining weight and can't seem to get it under control. I was wondering if anyone has taken  Garcinia Cambogia as seen on Dr. Oz after having gastric bypass and if anyone knows if it is safe. Thanks

It is almost certainly just another do-nothing weight-loss "miracle" substance like the raspberry ketones and dozens of other things he has on his show.  If any of these things really worked, there would be tons of media coverage on them and almost every doctor in the country would be recommending it to every overweight patient.  There is no miracle cure for fat.

I am also six years out.  I think that if you go "back to basics" (a protein forward, limited carb diet; portion control (it is very easy to let portion sizes creep up over the years); lots of water, but never with or right after meals) you will find that you can get the weight under control.  That doesn't cost you $40 (or whatever) and you know that it is safe.

Oprah said it very well a few years ago, and I am NOT an Oprah fan.

If there was a cure, magic pill or cream for obesity she would own it........and we all know she can afford ANYTHING.

calories in -- calories out = weight loss------very old math

Thank you that sounds about right. I find I don't eat much food but I tend to snack because it goes down easy and I don't get over full. Going back to the basic Thanks

Sadly, Dr Oz is turning into a snake oil salesman.
