Oh dear heavens! Do they know what is going on? Are you seeking a second opinion and considering if there was malpractice with your surgeon? I am shocked that you are having to experience all you are!

Hugs and healing to you!!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

I'm so sorry you're going through this!  I hope that now that you're under care and being monitored everything will get straightened out sooner rather than later.  Take care, rest and recover.

What does your surgeon think caused the problem?  What is he doing to treat it?  (Also, what type of physical therapy are they talking about??)

I'm sorry you are experiencing this, but if it will make you feel any better, it is HIGHLY unlikely that you would be there for an entire month.  Almost no insurance  company is going to approve that simply because you cannot eat.  They would pay for home nursing care before they would pay for inpatient care for 30 days.

If whatever they are doing isn't helping, they need to consider doing something else.

I am so sorry to hear of your complications. It's going to be a rough go but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Try to keep your chin up - it is hard, I know.

I hope you feel better soon.. My water broke when I was 27 weeks pregnant with my second daughter and I was on hospital bed rest until she was born.  It was long and lonely.  My thoughts are with you.
