Chunky Monkey Greek Yogurt

Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey ice cream was my favorite ice cream before my WLS.  Now, I can't eat it because it has too much sugar.  I mean, I could eat just a couple bites, but that's like a tease to me.  It's not worth it.

Tonight I had Chunky Monkey Greek yogurt - plain Greek  yogurt with sugar free banana pudding mix and a little Splenda, plus chopped walnuts and mini-chocolate chips (I would have used sugar free chocolate chips but none of the stores near my carries them and the regular only has eight grams of sugar in one tablespoon and one tablespoon is plenty for me in a serving of yogurt).

It's not Ben and Jerry's but it's very yummy and it's good for me.

There's a bunch of us adding SF banana pudding mix to our shopping lists. Move over Chunky Monkey, let's rename it Skinny Monkey!

Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

Wow, something ELSE that you and I agree on!  Chunky Monkey is one of my favorite ice cream flavors (HaagenDazs strawberry is my all-time favorite, and CM and B&J's Cherry Garcia are kind of tied for second place.  I have both the strawberry and the CM in my freezer ATM. Too sick to eat even a bite of either one right now, though...

The yogurt recipe sounds good sans walnuts (I sometimes pull them out of the CM, too).

Thank you for sharing the recipe.  Chunky Monkey was one of my favorites too (second to chubby hubby).  I actually had some as part of my "last of eating this" days.
