I was 6 weeks out this past WED but have been a little busy so no luck getting on for a real post. I started my journey 3 1/2 years ago with a Lapband that I consistently had trouble with. My highest weight ever was 320, my RNY surgery weight was 259. My lowest weight with the band before regain was 219 this morning I weighed 218!!! That is the smallest I have been in a VERY VERY long time.

Now for the NSV, tonight my boyfriend and ran instead of walked most of our 3 mile evening walk. I was out of breath and my heart was racing but my body did fine, I just need to learn to breathe correctly.

Wow! You can totally see it in your face! Good job!

I'm working on running now. There must be some secret to the breathing thing, because I feel exactly the same way!

Here you are, by the way!

Thank you for posting the picture. The breathing is soooo hard. Tomorrow I am going to a running store to try and get better shoes but I cant buy better breathing techniques so I will just have to work on it.

Good Luck.

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
