ONEderland; have internet back!
It has been over a month since I last checked in. I am now at 196! Just got into onederland a couple of days ago! I am heading into my 4th month post-op~Nov 2nd. I have lost weight slowly, and I am okay with the progress so far because I feel so much better physically and can do so much more! Just moved into another place at the beginning of October, so had to wait on the internet to get hooked back up, and then took a trip to Georgia to visit our 4 1/2 year old granddaughter that we had not seen in over a year!
It was wonderful to see her and spend 5 days with her, but the good-bye was the worst part of the whole trip! Broke my heart, and I still cry some days when I think of her! I miss her so so much! Well, better go for now cause I am beginning to tear up and gotta get ready for work.
Just wanted to touch base and let you all know things are going great! I hope next post won't be as long because I sure missed reading, responding, and posting! have a great day!

Congratulations on entering ONEderland and welcome back.
I'm in FL and my 10 month old grandson is in NC. I know just how you feel. I cry every time I leave him too. Do you and your daughter or son have Facetime (on an iPhone or iPad)? That has been the greatest thing to get me through the time until my next trip up to see him. He sees me on their iPad and smiles at me and reaches to try to touch me. It is so sweet.

Thanks! And no, don't have and Iphone or IPad. My daughter does but I just got a smart phone a month ago! Still don't know how to use it properly!! I am just not all that into the "newest" gadgets, never have been. My daughter sends me videos on FB and my granddaughter always says "grandma, I love you!" Thanks for the info though, maybe I will ask the husband for and IPad for christmas!
