stomach ulcer?

Never had this sensation before... I feel like my stomach has a light burning sensation. Have you experienced this? It's just uncomfortable and seems to be constant with no relief

Call your surgeon.  It could be an ulcer and if so many doctors will treat it just on supposed symptoms without even scoping.  You may want to try eating a more bland diet until you can see your doctor.

I had this sensation and was diagnosed with an ulcer so i agree with cajun check with the dr. They just put me on prilosec it is feeling much better.

I just got off prilosec a couple weeks ago. How long did you have to keep taking it?

Im still on it...3 months. There are other drugs too. So def talk with the dr.

Withdrawal from PPIs can feel just like this.  Did you have problems stopping the Prilosec?  I tried to stop taking them, but I just couldn't.  But, I had been on Protonix for several years before my WLS.  When I go back for my 6 month check up next month, I am going to talk to them again about stopping.  But, I felt awful when I tried to stop before.

I haven't been in prilosec for a couple of weeks now and this is the first time I've felt this way.

I'm three months post op & now have ulcer, was scoped on oct25 &go back in dec for another scope hopefully no surgery needed.just talk w/dr.

I have this too but it's very painful and i cannot eat much at all a lot less than normal. I was scoped about a month ago and i also have an ulcer. Get it checked out.
