Am I just too old to learn a new "trick"?

It is so much better on my android tablet, what is the issue with your Ipad?  The previous version did not interface to mobile correctly, this version does.  As technology changes so does every website, I just don't see what everyone thinks is so confusing?  Maybe because I am an IT professional it is easier for me to embrace change since my world changes on a daily basis. 

I cannot see what I am typing on my iPad until after I hit submit. It is a dark grey box for replies 99% of the time. Then every once in a while, it will be a white screen and I can view as I type. UBER frustrating. 

Mine is grey on my iPad mini, but only if I try to type with the pad vertical. When I have it horizontal/landscape, I have no problems.  Which HTML editor do you have selected?

When trying to type on my iPhone, the box is grey, regardless of orientation. So frustrating! Sometimes I will type my note using notes then copy and paste here. 

Well said.  I too am a fan of change when it makes sense and brings improvement or time/cost savings, but this one is lost on me.  And I really do implement quite a bit of change, so I AM trainable and adaptable.  I miss the "home page" that I had that showed several boards/strings that I chose to see all in one spot.......now I have to jump around to see stuff.....

I definitely agree!  I thought it was just me. 

I don't see that this is a huge improvement and I want my dates inserted back into Health Tracker (that's my biggest gripe).  I don't think the older site was particularly state of the art, but I don't see how this is a step in the right direction.

I have always wished for threads that identify the topics:  pre-op diet, vitamins, surgery, etc.  It would tie topics together and there would be less of the same questions all the time.  

It's messy, disconnected, and I've been avoiding it too. Oh and SLOW,,each page is taking FOREVER to load. Click on  Health tracker and try to update your weight, it sends you to yet ANOTHER health tracker link. It's a mess. Seriously a mess. Even the font is awful. 

I do not like the site. It's hard to navigate even for those who know what they are looking for. Imagine how challenging it will be for some new person who happens upon the site and has no idea what all the site has to offer. In addition, I have not been receiving notification of response to my posts, as well as messages for WELL OVER 1 YEAR!!! 

OH, please get your stuff together! 

I agree with you.  The old site was sooooooooooooo much more user friendly.  I have not been on the boards for a while and after using it a couple of times I think it will be quite a while before I return.  Which is a shame because there is so much good info on this site.
