Why had it been in so long? Is your surgeon OK that it came out?  I'm glad I didn't have to experience that, but as a nurse, I do take care of them in babies (ICU).  I also took care of my mom's j-tube when she was sick and recuperating.

The internal suture took this long to dissolve. 2 weeks ago the NP tried too pull it out. I ended up in CT 3 days later due to sever pain and fever. It was stuck for sure ! I'm a nurse too just never seen one sewn internally.

all good ! thats my only issue so I'm great ! Not really a complication just a bump in the road.....

Yay! I had one for four weeks, and it sucked! I can only imagine what 9 weeks would have been like. I am so happy for you!

That had to be a huge relief! My surgeon doesn't usually use them and I must say I am glad after your story!

Was it a peg or a mic-key button?   I'm glad its out.  My daughter has had one for 6 years, I thought your "it fell out" post was about your anxiety about changing it because I remember the first time hers fell out and what a to-do it was.  Now its second nature.
