Follow up to my feeling alone post
I tracked on my fitness pal exercise and food I am at about 900 to a 1000 cal. With this said I'm assuming I have to change to zero tolerance on the carbs and totally cut out fruit. Thanks to everyone *****plied to my post... I'm gonna keep plugging away at learning how to operate this body. I honestly thought I had a handle on this after 2 years plus but I guess I was wrong. Part of the problem is I have been chipping away at multiple different changes for 12 weeks I'm not asking for over night results but dang something would be an encouragement. I sure hope I see something happen soon.
It's really refreshing to have someone come on here asking for help and advice and have them embrace it! All too often we have people that come here and they're just not ready to listen to what's necessary.
There is a wealth of knowledge, love and support on here and I'm really happy to see you have taken the tips and good advice to heart!
I really think you know what you have to do and will do it - we are here for you for woo hoos, hand pats and general all round cheerleading!!!!

Is that the number after subtracting your exercise calories? Please do not do that. For many of us who have used MFP, we do not eat back our exercise calories. Our metabolisms are so screwed up and we really do not burn as many calories as machines or online calculators say.

For most people It is safe to get up to 200 gr of proteins. The real challenge is to figure out how much of what to eat.
I.e for 900 calories I would get 40-50 gr of carbs : =50x4=200 cal Then 100 gr of proteins=400 cal. That leaves (900-200-400) 300 cal for fats = 300/9= 31 gr of fat. When I am on a limited calorie diet - I notice i need more proteins to have good blood test results. The body would use some of the proteins as fuel.
Btw: a lot of so called "diet" foods - bars, processed low carb snacks - may underestimate the real carbs and calorie.
