Reward for losing weight: SKYDIVING!!!
I liked the actual zip lining but I had a bad experience. This was back when I weighed 240 pounds (and I'm only 4'10).
I was in the front of the line and having trouble getting clipped onto the line. (Because I'm short, I couldn't reach and because I had no upper body strength, I couldn't pull myself up.) So the guys let everyone go ahead of me to keep the line moving (which was embarrassing enough!).
Once I was the last one, they had to lift me up to get me clipped onto the line. It took TWO men to lift me up. I was mortified!! And this had to be repeated at every line (about 15 times).
I'm going to Puerto Vallarta in March and cannot wait to go zip lining!! I probably still won't be able to do a pull up, but I'm sure that only one man will be needed to lift me since I now weigh 165. And hopefully by then, I'll be under 150.
:)

My thoughts exactly!

I have not been and have no intention to ever do so! However, my sister went once and she absolutely loved it. She said afterward that she felt like she could do absolutely anything. If she could do that, then there was nothing too hard or scary.

Great for you! It IS exciting! Yes I did it 5 times when I was in my 20s. That was almost 30 years ago it the parachutes were much different and we had to land on our feet and roll. It was easier to sprain your ankle and knees. The chutes were round Army ones that didn't have toggles that would lift you up right before you landed to cushion the fall. Now I think they use the rectangle chutes and you ride with the instructor. Let us know how it goes!
