What's on the menu today, RNY-ers?

Hi Kenyatta- I don't snack either though today I had to have a shake to get my protein in. I am envious that your pouch is so small! Honestly the alternative is that you are like me and you don't ever test your pouch fullness but never feel full. I don't know how much my pouch holds because I phsychotically weigh my food and am very careful to never have over 4 oz at a meal. But I dream of being one of those people who says "I can't possibly eat more than two tablespoons of food!"  I am going to get my surgeons report at my next appt.

But I am sorry you're feeling blah about food. Is everything else ok? Is it just the post holiday blues and the cold? Do you have a good support group or any friends from your group. Thank god for my new support group friend Elaine who had VSG two days after me. We text each other everyday and just check in and celebrate successes and sometimes complain to each other :) it really helps!!

Thank you so much for starting this post and for everyone who participates. I have not yet, I am not being as good as you guys, LOL. I tend to drink shakes and do a bar every day for breakfast, morning snack, and lunch. It is so hectic at work, it is just so easy.

I'm just starting my day in the Middle East.  :-)

I'm almost exactly 9 months out.

Breakfast - skim latte, autumn scone (I highly recommend these--they're so yummy!)

Mid-morning snack - Health wise Cinnamon-Vanilla High Protein Cereal

Lunch - Quest Cookie Dough Protein Bar (I've got running around I need to do at midday and am not going to have time to have a sit-down meal)

Dinner - Meatloaf, asparagus, no-sugar soy chocolate chip cookies as a treat (only 30 calories each!)

Total - 946 calories, 82 protein, 98 carbs.  Not too bad.  :-)
