Confused
This is February 10. If you haven't lost anything since the end of January, that's not six weeks. That's about 10 days. Many people don't even consider it a stall until you haven't lost anything for at least four weeks.

Ah, OK. Well, you're just having a stall then. Try to stay off the scale for at least a couple weeks.

So a couple weeks? Perfectly common. I understand it's frustrating but you just need to stick to the path. :)
I'll second that. The one positive thing for me is after a time of a few weekly weigh-ins with little to no movement is the next time I do drop, it is like WOW! And I do a happy little dance! :)

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
Hi, I'm barb & I'm 9-1/2 years out, have kept off most of the weight. (120 of 140 lbs I lost.) I'm just going to offer you some perspective. You've lost an incredible amout of weight in a very short time. It took me about 7 months to lose a little over 100 lbs. I remember this speed bump well. I didn't lose a thing for over a month. I think your body is just trying to recognize your tremendous loss. You may even be getting smaller without the numbers on the scale showing. Try not to get discouaged stop your good routine. I'm not a nutriitionist but 800 calories does seem very low. Make sure you're getting in water, fiber & protein. Are you doing some kind of activity most days? I found cycling again after not being on a bicycle since my early teens. I'm convinced that's the real reason I've been able to keep my weight off. I work with a trainer doing functional training 2 days a week and spin, ride outdoors or use the elyptical at least 3 days a week. Find some form of exercize you love & stick with it, Believe me, I was alergic to working out oir even sweating. lol. I know you'll reach your desired goal. Try to stay positive and look at all you've accomplished in such a short time. If you don't begin to lose again soon talk to your bariatric surgeon , his/her dietition &/or support group. I wish you well.
Have you kept moving?

I definitely think it's just a stall. That's a lot of weight to lose in 7 months - more than most do. I'm sure you're not done losing. Just keep doing what you are doing. I was eating 800 calories at that time - that's all I could manage. When I'm in a stall, I try to drink way more water and that seems to help. It's hard not to focus on the numbers, it will come off!!!
