Hey Annie!  You're back on the wagon!  Awesome choices today :)  I freaking love pickles - I am pretty sure they are 0 calories :)  Starting the day with a 4 mile run is incredible.  I gotta get off my ass!

Hi Ceithlenn!  You look like you have a good menu planned!  Your V Day dinner sounds delicious.  I bet your fiancé was thrilled :)  I am slightly obsessed with goat cheese myself, so your lunch sounds awesome too :)

Hey Jodibee - how funny - I was seriously craving some egg drop soup last night but the rest of the food on the Chinese menus in DC are kind of eh, so we ended up with Thai.  Soup must have been on our minds with this never-ending winter weather!  I still haven't tried the ricotta and egg beaters, but it sounds so rich and delicious, I am going to have to :)

B egg beaters lite whole wheat toast with tsp. Lite margarine

L 2oz. Deli Turkey on 1slice lite whole wheat bread 1tsp. Lite mayo

D 3oz. Ground Turkey half cup tomato sauce and green beans half cup shirataki noodles

I've found the noodles are okay as long as I have a fairly favorable sauce on them otherwise they have a different taste but at less than 4grams carbs and less than 15 calories it definitely is a good substitute for regular pasta. Would have added a sprinkle of reduced fat parmesan cheese but none in the house.

I have two bags of the noodles in my fridge, waiting for me to try them!  My brother and his wife just tried them and texted me that they were great.  They claim that they made a "healthy beef stroganoff".  I do love noodles so I am sure I can make them work, so I can feel like I have my favorite food :)  Perhaps they would be good with shrimp (high in protein, low in calls) and pesto...I will have to try them this coming week!
