Holy crap I actually did it!
Can't believe I went thru with it, thought about surgery for so long it's almost surreal that it's done! Surgery went well yesterday, hard to believe that my turn finally came and went! Little sore in the shoulders from the co2, belly is just a bit punchy like wayyy too many sit-ups.
Horrible ketone mouth breath today yowzaa!! Resident was in this am and ordered my foley out and clear liquid breakfast. I've already been walking several times, so today sip and walk and rest! Doc said I may even get to go home this afternoon!

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

Congrats! It sounds like you are doing great! Keep up the great work!
Best wishes!
Awesome! I had the same experience - went home the day after surgery and never had much pain and have had zero complications. Keep your spirits up! I am down 15% of my body weight (not excess weight - BODY weight) in less than 10 weeks. The first few weeks of liquids are tough but you are going to feel so amazing! SOOOOO amazing! Congratulations and welcome to the other side!!!
