What's on the menu today, RNY-ers?
Hi OH friends,
Greetings from my last day in Mexico! I never thought I would say this but I can't wait to be back in cold DC and with my kitchen scale! I'm making great food choices but quantities might not be amazing...
Time since surgery: 11 weeks 4 days
B: egg white omelette with turkey, onion, jalapeño and a little cheese (and salsa!!!)
L: The grilled chicken off of the top of a salad, a few tbsp of guacamole (I'm an addict!!!)
D: whatever I can order off the Mexico City airport Hilton menu :(
E: dragged my ass out of bed at 7 am to do 40 mins on the treadmill at 3.1 mph and then some arm exercises
V: forgot!! Taking now!
W: at around 40 oz
What's on your menu today?? Em :)
Dcgirl.
I am glad you will be home and back to the comfort of routine soon. I understand how important that can be sometimes. I am a HUGE avocado addict myself as you can see from many of my daily menus.
This stall is driving me nuts. I hope its a stall anyways its been over a month since the scale has really moved at all. I hope once we get down to AZ and get back into an outdoor workout routine that it will start coming off again. I dont want to be done at 180.
B- egg beaters, tomato, onion, and a sprinkle of cheese- 125 calories - 18 protein grams
S- light and fit greek coconut yogurt with pecans - 150- 15 protein
L- ground turkey, ff beans, and avocado - 220 - 20 protein
S- Large hot coffee protein drink - 180 calories - 40 protein
D- Chicken taco chili from skinny taste - 175- 15 protein
Totals for today 850 calories and 108 protein (Much better day but my nut tells me to get closer to 1000-1200 calories to help with the stall that really scares me)
E- None, neck however is starting to feel better so I am going to attempt some lighter stuff tomorrow :
W- Good already on it this morning after a HORRIBLE day yesterda
V- On track
Ceithlenn! You are so not alone-I have read a lot of posts where the nutritionist says to increase calories to see more weight loss. With your huge success so far and your intense exercise schedule, I bet that would work for you. But I understand how scary that step will be. None of us want to go back to our old way if eating!
Good luck on your upcoming move! Omg WI to AZ is a change! I like working out in a cold gym :) Maybe as I lose more pounds I will like the heat more!
Damn avocados...I need to get out of here ASAP!!! Lol
How about if I go to Mexico now? I'm sick of cold here in Illinois! B 1/2c steel cut oats and1/2banana with peanut butter L 1/2 c chicken salad and 1/2c green beans S 185 cal whole grain crackers with peanut butter D 3-4 oz lean ground beef 1/2 c Brussels sprouts S 3/4 c greek yogurt with banana flavoring and 1/2 oz nuts water at 56 ounces E 200 crunches, 20 minutes on bike and 30 minutes at 3.3 mph and 2% incline. Have a great day everyone!

D:A little nervous about dinner we are going to a ****tail party at a huge bar.I am hoping not to eat at that and have dinner later. So it is a meal not a whole bunch of snacks.I am going to watch carbs to.I really shouldn't be nervous but sometimes I think a little fear can be good.
Vitamins all good with those
water all good.
Exercise not that great but I did walk up and down the street at my office and if no one is around I run up and down the hallways.I know I am goofy.I want to go dancing bad.I can't wait.
I am glad you will be back in the US and it is supposed to be a good weekend.
Have a safe flight

They really didn't have anything good.I did eat a cheese stick before I went.I did have a glass of wine which didn't go down very well.My husband and I ate a quick dinner after the ****tail party and I had chicken nachos i scraped the chicken off the nachos and eating it like a salad with the lettuce chicken and cheese. I know not the best choice they really had crap on the menu.I did however end up with I think may be a touch of the flu or food poisoning.I never feel like this.My husband was not feeling well last night either. So that makes me think it was from the food.
Hi em
have a safe flight back, and SUPER awesome on your working out! I'm so jealous. I still don't have the energy to do that much excercise. You, have lost 20 more pounds than I have. My weight loss is 39# and we had surgery at same time.
B, protein shake
S, 2 strips turkey bacon, low fat string cheese
L, tuna melt, no bread
D, unsure, probably shrimp
water is still low today, vitamins are on track.
have a great day
