Hi OH friends! I know this post doesn't get a lot of traction on the weekends, but some of you have asked "where is the post?" when I've skipped it before, so here we go! It also helps keep me accountable.

B: chocolate protein powder, PB2 and unsweetened almond milk

L: 2 pieces of chicken from a chicken kebab with 2 tbsp of hummus

Whats on your menu today?

I am glad you are enjoying working out.  I have gotten to where my day isn't right if I miss a session.

Breakfast  protein shake

snack banana

Lunch  turkey and cheese lettuce wraps

snack greek yogurt

dinner  baked fish, rutabaga, and asparagus

Exercise:  ran a 5K this morning.  Both husband and I came in second in our age group, and  I set a personal record.  It was a small race.  I don't think I would have placed at a larger race, but there were a lot of competitors in my age group.  At this point in my life I don't ever think I will be truly competitive, but I am pretty pleased with my accomplishment.

L 2oz. Chicken 10 special k cracker chips

D more chicken (cluck) half cup vegs squash zucchini peppers mix and my treat for today 1/2 oz. Cheddar cheese

I love cheese and used to eat gobs of it. Now a half ounce satisfies and is a real treat even though I factor it in with my prescribed diet
