What's on the menu today, RNY-ers?

Touchdown! I landed back in DC from Mexico and the flight was great! No one was in the middle seat but also it was a united flight that had upgraded their seating to the new slim fit seats and it felt roomy and there was a lot of extra space with the seatbelt. Granted, losing 60 lbs helped create space too, but the new seats are pretty great-they take up less room this giving us more :)

So hence the late-in-the-day post. 

Im so happy to be home since my calories have been high (for me) all week. 

Time since surgery: 11 weeks 5 days

B: airport food :( a bite of eggs, maybe 3 Oz of chicken with a sprinkle of cheese, in salsa

L: the items out of the tapas box that were WLS friendly. I had 4 cheese crisps I had traveled with, and used a little bit of the spreadable cheese, most of the tiny hummus, and 5 green olives. Will give the chocolate and crackers away. 

D: have a friend coming to town so maybe we will walk to a Thai restaurant for dinner and I can order chicken and make a bunch of meals out of it. 

My friend who is coming is pregnant with twins! But sooo supportive. We are walking to the gym tomorrow and working out and then getting pedicures :)

Glad to hear you made it home safe and sound. B1/2 c steel cut oats with but mix and 1/2 banana with peanut butter L 1/2 c tuna salad and 1/2c Brussels sprouts S 8 small whole grain crackers with peanut butter D 4 oz grilled salmon and a few baked sweet potato fries S 3/4 c greek yogurt with nuts(1 oz). Vits on track. Water 64 ounces so far. E 20 minutes on bike,30 minutes on treadmill at 3.4 mph and 2% incline. Also did 200 crunches. Good day food and exercise wise. Looking forward to a slightly warmer weekend here in Illinois!

I tried to eat an egg and a slice of turkey bacon...nope no can do. It seems this is a bad pouch day for me.....snack: banana yogurt, 1/4 pear.....D: hopefully a piece of steak and some salad...no promises. Have a great weekend peoples.

Hey DCgirl,

I am glad to hear that you are back safe from Mexico and that you have an exciting weekend with a friend planned. I need to make plans for this weekend as I just realized I have nothing going on. Its in the 30's today!!! Woohoo its overcast but I'll take it, I even celebrated by wearing a dress to work with sweater tights lol.  

6.25 months out

  B- SF FF vanilla latte and then 1/2 cup egg beaters with a little bit of FF cheese - 215 calories -29 protein  

S- light coconut yogurt with pecans - 150 calories- 15 protein  

L- 3/4 cup of taco chili and avocado - 225 - 15 protein  

S- Hot chocolate coffee protein 1 1/2 servings - 150 calories - 30 protein  

D- Not sure yet Eric is not feeling well, Friday we normally go out but it sounds like it will be a stay in night if so I will do eggbeaters and cheese with a bit of avocado again. - 225- 18 protein  

Totals - 965 calories and 107 grams of protein ( calories upish and over 100 on the protein Woohoo)  

W- Doing awesome at 48 and starting on another 24 right now

Dinner:Homemade chicken and veggie soup.I did cheat and buy pre-cooked chicken and cut up veggies.Sometimes we have to make things easy

I am hoping to go dancing tonight.My favorite DJ is going to be at the bar near where we used to live.I haven't seen him in about 2 years.Him and I can get into a lot of trouble.I can't wait.

I am glad you got back from Mexico safely.

Hello everyone. I did another workout yesterday and I was really proud of myself for being able to keep up with the group, I can't wait to go back! Today is a run day for me going to take it easy.

me eats for the day:

breakfast: coffee and creamer, toast with egg and some cheese

lunch: turkey chili with cheese, sour cream and a few oyster crackers thrown in. Salad to go with it

dinner: grilling up flank ( happy the sun is out I've missed the BBQ!) a few bites of potatoes and salad

snack: found these yummy nature valley protien bars, they have 10 grams of protein and 190 calories and 13 carbs and they fullfill my candy bar craving! So I'm going to go eat that. A shake before the gym and a Greek yogurt for dessert. 

cal:993 protein: 86 carbs: 79 I think that number will change I am feeling hungry today but I haven't really drank any water yet so I will see what happens after that.

e: running/walking on treadmill for 30 minutes and weights

Hi DCGirl - welcome back and getting into your routine again. I fly out to Houston on Sunday, so starting to feel a little anxious about my staying compliant.
B=Boca veggie patty w/mustard
L=Quest protein bar (out shopping all day - but NSV - got an awesome Calvin Klein dress in size 2, and while looking at myself in the 3-way mirror, a girl about 20 years my junior said, "you have to get that dress. With your body, you are rockin it). So I bought it - LOL
D - supposed to have 4oz grilled sturgeon but didn't like it, so ate 3.5 oz tuna in lettuce as a lettuce wrap, and about 10 steamed asparagus
S=likely a protein bar - addiction still with me. :0
E=25 minutes on treadmill
V=on track
Water all good - about 12 cups today
Total Cal=645, Protein=86

Lapband surgery in 2009 -  Revision to RNY August 13, 2013 with gallbladder removal.

Size 2?!?? Damn girl! You go!

I hear your concerns on traveling. Post everyday while you're gone and log it into MFP-that's what works for me. I know I stayed on plan all week BUT I had too much guacamole BUT I still lost :) Must have been all the exercise :) I will be pulling for you!
