I cooked a turkey in the crock pot last night.  We may be eating on that a few days!

I will be looking for recipes for all this turkey meat.  I know about EggFace but would appreciate more suggestions for site to check out.  Low carb - low fat ....

6 months out & I still struggle to keep up my water. Its beautiful out today on the East Coast.  Must walk today!    I need to get back into the gym faithfully to strengthen muscle.  Just with the 'learning to jog' activity I can feel sore muscles in my back & neck.  I need to tone!

Love this thread thanks for keeping it going!

Time passed since surgery: 19 months

I have been tracking a bit more due to job change.  Trying to establish a routine :)  I realize my goals for maintenance are 100 g,  100 g AND 100 oz  lol  CARBS, PROTEIN AND FLUID OZ  My calories tend to fall between 1300-1500  I also noticed my percentages tend to be a third protein, a third carbs and a third fat even though I have no fat goals or limits.   Kind of funny how the numbers do that.

Breakfast: 3 c coffee with sf creamer & splenda,

1 egg 7g on sm serving hash brown potatoes, 1 bacon  (DH made it)

Lunch:  2 sausage patties left from big breakfast DH made :)   watermelon

Dinner: BBQ chicken thigh and almond green beans

3 Snacks: Syntrax Nectar protein lemon tea 23g, babybell cheese round and a hunter sausage w a serving of wheat thins ( the meat cheese and crackers I will have half of twice)

Exercise/vitamins/fluids: raking/vitamins 1 batches done, 3 to go

2- 20 oz bottles of water, 20 oz protein shake and 36 oz of coffee

Greetings from Dublin! Ugh the last time I slept was Friday night and it's now 5 pm on Sun here so you know i am tired! Flight to London was packed - we took off at 10 pm and half an hour later they served some crappy chicken with a salad and a roll and a brownie. I ate less than 1 Oz of chicken, which was ok because I had eaten dinner at 6 pm. Then five hours later (I watched Her and it was so sweet and sad and good) they served breakfast which was a croissant and some unripened fruit. I declined it. Then while waiting for my Dublin connection in London I couldn't find a WLS friendly breakfast! I ended up getting a "bacon toastie" and eating the bacon and not the bread. The bread was buttered lol. Not sure why a bacon sandwich would be buttered haha.

Then flew to Dublin and checked in at my hotel and unpacked and realized I desperately need protein so I took a stolen mayo packet and added it to a 2.6 Oz packet of tuna and ate that!

We have a group dinner tonight at a steakhouse and I am ordering the chicken. I probably won't make 60 g of protein because I just ate at 4:30 local time and dinner is 7 but at least I will be under calories and carbs :)

Also I am SOO excited-3 blocks away is a gym that will let me buy a day pass for 10 euros per day. Goal is to go at least 3 mornings if not 4!

Well the sun is out and though I'm exhausted in going to shower and go take a walk. I'm already at 5,000 steps today just from airport walking!

OHHHH and a cool NSV - I took the stairs in all the airports instead of the escalators. First time ever. And the seat was more comfy. Overall I'm thrilled with my quality of travel life and it's only four months after surgery!!!

Hope you're all having great weekends! Em

Those are some low carbs, Pam, good job - I know that's your goal right now, so keep it up!

Movie date night sounds pretty good. After my fundraiser on Friday and the Healthy Kids Fair yesterday - I spent an exciting Saturday night on OH and watching Netflix - and let me tell you, it felt awesome!

I realized when I updated my tracker last night that I'm at 49 pounds lost, which feels crazy to me! Tomorrow or the next day I'll probably be at FIFTY pounds - how did that happen? I can feel it in my clothing, but I don't feel it in my bones yet.

Time since surgery 5.5 weeks

B: string cheese, 2oz Cream of Wheat with 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar Splenda

S: 12oz Lemon Tea Nectar protein shake

L: egg salad made with 1 hard boiled egg and LF mayo, 1oz steam carrots

Hi Pam, thank you for posting.  I love the Marvel Series, Cap Amer 2 is on our list of must see!  I like popcorn, don't love it but am afraid that if I try it I won't be able to stop eating it so since surgery I have not had any.  Super busy day today have been going non stop since 730am this morning (its 5pm here now as I write) and I am exhausted, not a great eating day I was out in the car most of the day.

5.75 months post op - I am one week away from being 6 months post op and think I might be headed into the "6 month stall" have not lost any weight for six days, hoping its just a body adjustment and not a true stall but I do know some people who stalled at 6 mos for a full month so we will see... I just can't believe that I am just shy of 6 months post op, man time flies!!

B: egg white omelet, 1/2 slice cheddar cheese, one slice of bacon

L: 2.5 oz of chicken breast

S: one babybel cheese and 1/2 Navel orange

D: 4 oz of bbq grilled pork chop & 1/2 cup grilled mushrooms

S: one cup of unsweetened almond milk and Chike Iced Coffee protein (1st time trying the Chike, will let you know how I like it or not)

Stats: 697 calories  29 carbs  83 protein

Exercise: 8 kms hike/jog with dogs and tons of walking today (grocery store, Costco, Sports Store, Pet store)

Vitamins: AM done and one set of PM vits to go

Have a great evening everyone

Hello everyone. Thanks for posting Pam! I love going to the movies. Something about the big screen.....and the popcorn. Love it.

Busy day here. Laundry, food shopping, bill paying. Went to a jazz concert at an art gallery today that benefits Meals on Wheels. That was fun. There were some interesting characters there. I so adore people watching.

5 weeks post op and doing well with food. Anny, I ate shaved deli meat and cheese this past week and I did fine. Went down pretty easy. Of course chewed it to death! Usually I have no problem with vitamins but somehow forgot one dose today of calcium/vit D, oops! I don't think I can make up for it either because I know they have to be spaced apart. Oh well. I will do better tomorrow!

Oh, the jazz concert sounds fun! I got some "ultra thin" deli chicken and "ultra thin" colby jack cheese and am trying it now - seems to be going down ok!

Tasted heavenly to me! Hope it goes well for you too! I think I'm going to make some Turkey meat balls tomorrow. I will make a big batch and put them in the freezer. Just pop them out and heat them up as needed. Also got an avocado. I think it was Grim Traveler who wrapped a slice of avocado in deli meat. That sounded really good to me. Going to try it.
