Referred to Guelph, Dec. 3/12. Orientation: Mar 7/13. NUT/SW/RN Jun 18/13. Nutrition Class Jul 3/13. NUT/SW/RN Aug 19/13. Post-op Nutrition Class Dec 30/13. Approval for surgery from Dr. Jules Foute Nelong Feb 10/14. Surgery Apr 23/14.

Em, I can't even tell you how excited for you I am. You have been rockin' this journey hard! You're input here on OH has certainly meant a huge amount to me and I know you've been an inspiration to others. Your approach to life post-WLS is practical and determined - you're going to be at goal before you know it!

Between your post yesterday on my nervousness thread and this, you have really helped to calm my nerves. Thanks for being open and honest about the pros and cons of this surgery!

Andrea - being nervous is normal, but man, I have zero regrets.  Other than not having done it sooner.  If you are willing to put in the effort, the rewards are beyond what you can imagine.  Good luck in a few weeks and you will do great!!!
