I have been using their strawberry pineapple flavored multivitamin because I didn't want one with any calcium carbonate in it. (I have had trouble with kidney stones , and calcium carbonate -- in addition to not being well absorbed by us --contributes to kidney stones.) Two of these meets the recommended daily dose from the ASMBS, so they are a good choice if you like the flavor

I find all of their chewable vitamins to be VERY sweet, however.  (Even the chewable Centrum are sweet, though, so it isn't just the Celebrate brand.)

Thank you for all the great input, it's been helpful to me.

My PCP put me on Centrum and Calcium Citrate (Citrical+D) years ago so I'm used to taking supplements daily, but what I take now are horse pills!  From what I've read, I thought I'd better find something else to take after surgery.  I've never been crazy about any chewable supplement (taste or texture) so my thinking was to use chewable calcium citrate for the first couple of months after surgery and then switch to the Citracal Petites.  But I haven't been able to find a small, easy to swallow multivitamin or a liquid multivitamin that meets our nutritional requirements after surgery.  I'm open to suggestions if anybody knows of a good one.

To the person who mentioned the sample pack from Celebrate - thank you.  I didn't realize those were available.  I'm going to order one of those for $3 to get an idea of what they're like.

I've learned that several people use two Centrum chewables each day instead of a 'bariatric' mulivitamin, but someone said they don't taste any better than the Celebrate.  Still, I'll check out the price difference since Centrum has worked well for me over the years and I trust it.

Thank you again for giving your opinions!

After I posted I went back to the Celebrate website and found that they offer a similar product in capsule form, with higher amounts of D, K and B12.  I somehow missed seeing this before.  I think a capsule might be preferrable to a chewable for me.  Will I be able to absorb sufficiently from capsule form?  They're the same price as the chewables.  Here are the details:

Developed specifically for surgical weight loss patients, Celebrate bariatric multivitamin provides the most thorough blend of vitamins and minerals available.  Our integrated formula provides maximum bioavailability as we have carefully selected each vitamin and mineral level and form to enhance interaction and absorption.  Our daily dosage is made up of three easy to swallow capsules, which will dissolve quickly and do not contain any ingredients that may upset your pouch.

The ASMBS says capsules are absorbed fine.

I LOVE my Celebrate vitamins.  I don't like the orange or strawberry banana chewable but I love the grape.  I also take the chewable calcium 500, their dry D and their iron +C.  I have had exceptional lab results thus far and never forget to take them.  I actually look forward to taking them... and indeed, had to stop taking the chewy calcium because I seemed to obsess about them a bit too much. Moreover, their customer service is really good.

I mostly use Celebrate... I switch them up and sometimes do their chewable, sometimes chews (starburst like), sometimes I do ENS drinks (Mmm Vanilla Cake Batter) I get bored easily so I vary them. Yeah get the sample packet it's $3 if you call them and want to try a particular flavor they will add that flavor for you.. very cool company, always supports WLS events too. I tend to stick with "bariatric" vitamins versus store brands because they are at events like Obesity Week and involved in the latest research/studies about our WLS rearranged guts.

I just wanted to add that they also worked with me when I needed financial aid.  To me, that says a lot about a company.  Additionally, one of the representatives called me after sending the dry D out to see if my labs had improved ... that's above and beyond normal customer service.

I think they have fantastic customer service.  You can call and speak to the CEO Vic on the phone if you have any questions.  They are great about sending out samples of things you want to try, too.
